About Me
With a Masters in Social Work from the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago, I have over 30 years of experience leading governmental and nonprofit organizations focused on human services and social justice. I have proven skills working with boards, supervising staff, engaging volunteers, developing and managing programs, overseeing financials and fundraising, providing external outreach and communications, and organizing individuals and communities. I have deep experience as a teacher, trainer, facilitator and mentor. I have worked extensively with diverse populations and communities including victims of crime, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, and migrants and refugees.
